Proud Momma of Stink Family

As the mother of the Stink mother and the daughter of the "Missie" profiled and pictured on the Stink Tri Blog, I am so pleased that my family is using this positive outlet to remember thir "Missie" and her brave battle with cancer. Though she vowed to not give in, she finally took my suggestion to join the dozens of friends and family that she helped pass over into the arms of God. No one dreamed that she harbored cancer for at least two years before diagnosis. She was a spunky 82 when her Earthly body finally let down and I encouraged her to let go and pass on to a painless path with God. Now the Stink Family is doing their best to raise money towards research for a cancer cure and I beg you, friends and strangers, to join me in helping them attain the modest goal they have set to honor "Missie" and to praise the recovery of the Stink Grandfather Holdt and the Stink Grandmother Dukehart. I lost two dear friends during my childhood to blood related cancers and at least five classmates to other types of cancer. Who is to say that the next diagnosis will not be you or me?
